Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the upper fan shroud. Refer to FAN SHROUD REPLACEMENT -- UPPER (W/O M74) or FAN SHROUD REPLACEMENT -- UPPER (W/M74) .
  2. Remove the drive belt. For 4.8L, 5.3, and 6.0L engines, refer to DRIVE BELT REPLACEMENT -- ACCESSORY or for 8.1L engines, refer to DRIVE BELT REPLACEMENT -- ACCESSORY .
  3. Remove the power steering pump pulley using the J 25034-C  .
