Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the rear bumper fascia. Refer to Fascia Replacement - Rear Bumper .
  2. Remove the rear energy absorber. Refer to Energy Absorber Replacement - Rear .
  3. Disconnect the wiring harness from the rear bumper impact bar.

  4. Remove the rear impact bar nuts from the rear impact bar.
  5. Remove the rear impact bar from the vehicle.
