Removal Procedure

  1. Open the rear compartment.
  2. Place a protective covering over the adjacent body panels.
  3. Remove the rear compartment spoiler, if equipped. Refer to Spoiler Replacement - Rear .
  4. Remove the rear compartment lid applique. Refer to Compartment Lid Applique Replacement - Rear .
  5. Remove the rear compartment lid lock cylinder. Refer to Lock Cylinder Replacement - Rear Compartment Lid .
  6. Remove the rear compartment lid latch. Refer to Latch Replacement - Rear Compartment Lid .
  7. Remove the rear compartment lid overslam bumpers from the rear compartment lid.
  8. Remove the wire harness from the rear compartment lid.
  9. Place the lid harness in the rear compartment.
  10. With an assistant, remove the rear compartment lid bolts (2) from the rear compartment lid.
  11. With an assistant, remove the rear compartment lid (1) from the vehicle.
