Variable Intake-Air Shutter Valve Actuator Inspection [LF]

Remove the air hose. (See INTAKE-AIR SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [LF] .)
Disconnect the vacuum hose from the variable intake-air shutter valve actuator.
Connect a vacuum pump to the variable intake-air shutter valve actuator.
Apply vacuum and verify that the rod moves.
- If the rod dose not move, replace the intake manifold.
