Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and suitably support the vehicle.
  2. Remove the rear propeller shaft. Refer to PROPELLER SHAFT REPLACEMENT - ONE PIECE or PROPELLER SHAFT REPLACEMENT - TWO PIECE .
  3. Using the J 8614-01 to hold the transmission yoke, remove and discard the yoke nut.

  5. Remove the yoke.
  6. Using J 6125-1B (1) and J 23129 (2), remove the rear oil seal.
