Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and suitably support the vehicle.
  2. Remove the rear propeller shaft. Refer to PROPELLER SHAFT REPLACEMENT - ONE PIECE or PROPELLER SHAFT REPLACEMENT - TWO PIECE .
  3. Remove the transmission. Refer to Transmission Replacement .

    Important:  The clutch actuator hose can remain connected to the clutch actuator. Disconnecting the hose from the clutch actuator will allow the hydraulic fluid to drain from the hydraulic system.

  4. Remove the clutch actuator cylinder bolts. Do not disconnect the hose from the actuator.

  6. Remove the clutch actuator cylinder.
  7. Remove the front oil seal using J 23907 (2) and J 44748 (1).
