Cylinder Head Installation - Right

Tools Required

J 36660-A Torque Angle Meter

Install the dowel pins (cylinder head locator) (if necessary).
Inspect the dowel pins (cylinder head locator) for proper installation.
Install the cylinder head gasket.

Install the cylinder head.

CAUTION: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
Install NEW cylinder head bolts.
Tighten

Tighten the cylinder head bolts in sequence to 60 N.m (44 lb ft). Turn the bolts an additional 95 degrees using the J 36660-A.
