Installation Procedure

  1. Install the oil pump.
  2. Install the drive shaft extension.
  3. Engage the drive shaft extension into the drive gear.
    CAUTION: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
  4. Install the pump to the rear bearing cap bolt.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the oil pump nut to 41 N.m (30 lb ft).

  5. Install the oil pan. Refer to Oil Pan Replacement  .
