Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the battery negative cable from the battery. Refer to BATTERY NEGATIVE CABLE DISCONNECT/CONNECT PROCEDURE in Engine Electrical.
  2. Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Refer to LIFTING AND JACKING THE VEHICLE in General Information.
  3. Remove the electrical connector from the engine oil pressure sensor.
  4. Remove the engine oil pressure switch.
