Removal Procedure

Remove the crossover pipe. Refer to Exhaust Crossover Pipe Replacement .

Remove the exhaust manifold heat shield bolts.
Remove the exhaust manifold heat shield.

Remove the exhaust manifold nuts.
Remove the exhaust manifold.
Remove the exhaust manifold gasket.

Clean the mating surfaces at the cylinder head and at the exhaust manifold.
