Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the headrest from the front seat. Refer to Head Restraint Replacement - Front Seat .
  2. Adjust the seat back to gain access to the J-hook retainers.
  3. Unfasten the J-hook retainer at the bottom of the seat back cover.
  4. Adjust enough of the seat back cover to access the seat back frame.

  5. Reach inside between the seat back cover and the pad.
  6. Squeeze the bottom of the headrest guide together.

    Push the headrest guide upwards through the seat back frame.

  7. Remove the headrest guide from the seat back frame.
