Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2002 Chevrolet Malibu. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Install the actuator (10) to the upper channel (3).
    CAUTION: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
  2. Install the bolts (6) to the horizontal actuator (10).

    Tighten 

    Tighten the bolts to 16 N.m (12 lb ft).

  3. Install the horizontal drive cable into the actuator (10).
  4. Push the oblong connector into the horizontal actuator (10) until a loud audible click is heard.
  5. Install the motor support bracket, if previously removed. Refer to Seat Adjuster Motor Replacement - Front .
  6. Install the front seat to the vehicle. Refer to Seat Replacement  .
