Removal Procedure

WARNING: This page does not describe the selected car, but rather 7 other vehicles, including the 2002 GMC Yukon XL, 2002 GMC Yukon, 2002 Chevrolet Tahoe, 2002 Chevrolet Suburban, and 2002 Chevrolet Avalanche. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Raise and support the window glass.
  2. Remove the trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Side Rear Door (Tahoe/Yukon/Escalade)  or Trim Panel Replacement - Side Rear Door (Suburban/Yukon XL/Avalanche/Escld EXT) .
  3. Remove the water deflector. Refer to Water Deflector Replacement - Rear Door (Tahoe/Yukon/Escalade)  or Water Deflector Replacement - Rear Door (Suburban/Yukon XL/Avalanche/Escld EXT) .
  4. Disconnect the window motor electrical connector.
  5. Loosen the two window clamp bolts on the regulator.
  6. Remove the bolts retaining the window regulator to the door.

  8. Remove the module from the door.
