Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and support the hood.
  2. Disconnect the electrical connector for the underhood lamp.
  3. Remove the underhood lamp harness and the retainers from the hood. Refer to UNDERHOOD LAMP REPLACEMENT (BASE) or UNDERHOOD LAMP REPLACEMENT (RETRACTABLE) .
  4. Remove the hood insulator retainers.
  5. Remove the insulator from the hood (1).
