Installation Procedure

  1. Install a new lock cylinder (2) by pressing inwards until it is seated.
  2. Install the retaining clip (1).
  3. Ensure the linkage for the top compartment door are all connected before installing the inside panel.
  4. Install the inside panel.
  5. Install the 11 screws. Tighten the screws to 1.6 N.m (14 lb in).
  6. Inspect the operation of the top compartment door.
  7. Install the compartment door to the console.
