Finding A Station (Uplevel): PSCAN

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2002 GMC Sierra, 2002 GMC Cab & Chassis Sierra, 2002 Chevrolet Silverado, and 2002 Chevrolet Cab & Chassis Silverado. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

Any stations already stored in preset memory can be sampled by the PSCAN mode.

  1. In order to use PSCAN, press the PSCAN push button.

PSCAN will scan each of the presets and stop for a few seconds.

  2. Press PSCAN or another push-button in order to stop scanning to listen to a specific station.

SCAN appears in the display whenever the turner is in the PSCAN mode.

If 1 of the stations stored on a push-button is weak, the radio display shows the channel number (P1-P6) for several seconds before advancing to the next preset station.
