Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the door trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Side Rear Door .
  2. Remove the door control module. Refer to Door Control Module Replacement .
  3. Remove the nylon nuts (2).

  4. Remove the retainers at the upper corners of the water deflector.
  5. Push the wiring harness through the hole in the water deflector.
  6. Carefully peel the water deflector away from the door, being careful not to damage the sealer.
  7. If removal of the auxiliary water deflector is required. Refer to Sealing Strip Replacement - Rear Door Window Belt Inner .
