Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the door trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Side Rear Door .
  2. Peel the water deflector forward just far enough to access the outside door handle.
  3. Disconnect the outside door handle latch rod (1) by opening the retainer (2) on the door latch.

  4. Remove the outside door handle fasteners through the access holes (1).

  5. Remove the handle, with latch rod attached, by lifting up and out.
  6. Remove the rod from the door handle.
