Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the rear seat cushion. Refer to SEAT CUSHION REPLACEMENT -- REAR .
  2. Remove the rear center shoulder belt anchor fastener.

  4. Remove the rear seat back. Refer to SEAT BACK REPLACEMENT -- REAR .
  5. Release the push-in retainers securing the rear shelf trim (1).

  6. Release the center shoulder belt escutcheon by prying upward on the front corner.

  7. Carefully lift up-ward on the rear shelf trim enough to expose the retractor fastener (2).
  8. Remove the fastener (2).
  9. Remove the rear compartment front trim panel. Refer to COMPARTMENT TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT--REAR
  10. Remove the retractor through the rear compartment.
  11. Feed the center shoulder belt and escutcheon through the hole in the rear shelf trim panel.
