Removal Procedure

Remove the rear seat cushion. Refer to SEAT CUSHION REPLACEMENT -- REAR .
Remove the rear center shoulder belt anchor fastener.

Remove the rear seat back. Refer to SEAT BACK REPLACEMENT -- REAR .
Release the push-in retainers securing the rear shelf trim (1).

Release the center shoulder belt escutcheon by prying upward on the front corner.

Carefully lift up-ward on the rear shelf trim enough to expose the retractor fastener (2).
Remove the fastener (2).
Remove the rear compartment front trim panel. Refer to COMPARTMENT TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT--REAR
Remove the retractor through the rear compartment.
Feed the center shoulder belt and escutcheon through the hole in the rear shelf trim panel.
