Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page does not describe the selected car, but rather 7 other vehicles, including the 2002 GMC Yukon XL, 2002 GMC Yukon, 2002 Chevrolet Tahoe, 2002 Chevrolet Suburban, and 2002 Chevrolet Avalanche. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Install the seat cushion cover and pad to the seat frame.
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
  2. Install the bolts (1) on the roller assembly (2).

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolts to 53 N.m (39 lbs ft)

  3. Fig 2: Installing Support Rod

  4. Install the support rod (1) to the bottom of the seat.

  6. Install the bolts (2) to the grab handle (1).

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolts to 30 N.m (22 lbs ft)

  7. Install the J-Clips on the back of the seat.
  8. Install the rear seat to the vehicle. Refer to Seat Replacement - Rear Bench .
