Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page does not describe the selected car, but rather 7 other vehicles, including the 2002 GMC Yukon XL, 2002 GMC Yukon, 2002 Chevrolet Tahoe, 2002 Chevrolet Suburban, and 2002 Chevrolet Avalanche. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Position the power lumbar/bolster assembly on the seat.
  2. Connect the electrical connectors to the motors.
  3. Fasten the lumbar wire at the bottom of the frame.

  5. Attach the lumbar clip onto the top of the seat frame.

  7. Install the rivets to secure the bolster paddles (1).
  8. Install the seat back cover and pad. Refer to Seat Back Cover and Pad Replacement - Front .
  9. Install the head restraint and guides. Refer to Head Restraint Replacement (Non-Cadillac)  or Head Restraint Replacement (Cadillac)  or Head Restraint Replacement (Folding) .
  10. Install the seat in the vehicle. Refer to Seat Replacement - Front Bucket .
