Removal Procedure

  1. Set the front wheels in the straight-ahead position.
  2. Set the steering wheel in the LOCK position.
  3. Remove the intermediate shaft. Refer to Intermediate Steering Shaft Replacement - Lower .
  4. Remove the nuts from the studs.
  5. Remove the seal from the vehicle.
