Test Description

The numbers below refer to the step numbers on the diagnostic table.

5) - This step simulates pressing and releasing a properly functioning traction control switch.
6) - The traction control switch may be damaged if the traction control switch signal circuit is shorted to voltage.
7) - This step test if the ignition 1 voltage circuit can supply adequate power to the traction control switch.
8) - This step tests if the EBCM is commanding the traction off indicator OFF.
