Installation Procedure

  1. Install the quarter panel trim to the vehicle.

    2. NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
  2. Install the quarter panel trim screws.

    Tighten:  Tighten the screws to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

  3. Install the door sill plate. Refer to Door Sill Plate Replacement - Front  or Door Sill Plate Replacement - Rear  .
  4. Install the trim panel. Refer to Trim Replacement - Third Pillar (Tahoe/Yukon/Escalade/Suburban)  or Trim Replacement - Third Pillar (Avalanche/Escalade EXT)  .
  5. Install the garnish molding. Refer to Garnish Molding Replacement - Rear Corner  .
  6. Install the rear seat. Refer to SEAT REPLACEMENT - REAR (60/40 SPLIT) or SEAT REPLACEMENT - REAR (50/50 SPLIT 2ND REAR) .
