Installation Procedure

  1. Install the intermediate cable.
  2. Connect the intermediate cable to the front cable.
  3. Connect the equalizer to the rear park brake cables.
  4. Install the nut to the threaded end of the intermediate cable. Tighten the nut to 3.5 N.m (31 lb in).
  5. Remove the safety stands.
  6. Lower the vehicle.
  7. Adjust the park brake system. Refer to Park Brake Adjustment .
