Removal Procedure

  1. Release the park brake.
  2. Raise and support the vehicle.
  3. Remove the tire and wheel assembly.
  4. Relieve the tension from the park brake cable by loosening the nut at the equalizer.

  6. Remove the rear park brake cable from the park brake actuator lever.
  7. Remove the rotor. Refer to BRAKE ROTOR .
  8. Remove the park brake shoe. Refer to Park Brake Shoe Replacement (Except RPO NYS, 25/35 Series)  or Park Brake Shoe Replacement (25/35 Series)  .
  9. Remove the actuator lever from the backing plate.
