Oil Cooler Pipes & Seals: Removal

NOTE: Tools required: Cooler Line Seal Remover (J-41239-10) and Cooler Line Seal Installer (J-41239-1).

NOTE: Allow sufficient clearance around the transaxle oil cooler pipes and around the hoses to prevent damage or wear which may cause fluid loss.

Raise and support the vehicle. Position the drain pan. Remove the transaxle oil cooler pipe at the transaxle. See Figure. Remove the cooler pipe bracket stud. See Figure and Figure. . Remove the oil cooler pipe seals. See Figure.
Remove the transaxle oil cooler pipe fittings at the radiator. See Figure. Remove the transaxle oil cooler pipe clip bolt. Remove the transaxle oil cooler pipes.
