Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page does not describe the selected car, but rather 7 other vehicles, including the 2002 GMC Yukon XL, 2002 GMC Yukon, 2002 Chevrolet Tahoe, 2002 Chevrolet Suburban, and 2002 Chevrolet Avalanche. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Install the speaker to the subwoofer assembly.
  2. Assemble the halves of the subwoofer assembly. Engage the retainers.

  4. Install the subwoofer assembly to the vehicle.
  5. Connect the electrical connections.

    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
  7. Install the bolts which retain the subwoofer assembly to the vehicle.

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolts to 9 N.m (80 lb in).

  8. Install the rear quarter trim panel. Refer to TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT - REAR QUARTER - RIGHT (UTILITY) or TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT - REAR QUARTER - RIGHT (SUBURBAN) , or to TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT - REAR QUARTER - LEFT (UTILITY) or TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT - REAR QUARTER - LEFT (SUBURBAN) .
