Installation Procedure

  1. Install the wiper motor.
  2. NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
  3. Install the two screws.

    Tighten:  Tighten the screws to 19 N.m (14 lb ft).

  4. Connect the wiper motor electrical connector.
  5. Install the interior trim panel. Refer to TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT - LIFT GATE .
  6. Install the spacer and the nut on the wiper motor drive shaft.

    Tighten:  Tighten the nut to 8 N.m (71 lb in).

  7. Install the wiper arm.
