Installation Procedure

    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
  1. Install the auxiliary battery tray.
  2. Install the battery tray bolt and nuts.

    Tighten: 

    • Tighten the battery tray bolt to 9 N.m (80 lb in).
    • Tighten the battery tray nuts to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).

  3. Set the surge tank into position.
  4. Install the surge tank nut and bolt.

    Tighten:  Tighten the surge tank bolt and nut to 9 N.m (80 lb in).

  5. Install the auxiliary battery. Refer to Battery Replacement - Auxiliary .
