Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the liftgate trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Liftgate .

  3. Disconnect the window defogger wiring connectors.
  4. Disconnect the key switch connector.
  5. Disconnect the window ajar switch connector.
  6. Disconnect the wiper module connector.
  7. Disconnect the door lock actuator connector.
  8. Disconnect the door ajar switch connector(s).
  9. Remove the wiring harness clips.
  10. Pull back the rubber boot on door side grommet to expose plastic snap ring
  11. Release the snap ring locks.
  12. Remove the wiring harness from door.
