Installation Procedure

  1. Install the wiring harness to the door.
  2. Connect the key switch connector (RHS only).
  3. Connect the door ajar switch connectors.
  4. Install the wiring harness clips.
  5. Connect the power door lock actuator connector (RHS only).
  6. Connect the window defogger wiring connectors.
  7. Connect the door wiring contact connector(s).
  8. NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
  9. Install the door wiring contact screws.

    Tighten:  Tighten the screws to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

  10. Install the trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Rear Door .
