Lock Striker Replacement - Endgate (Tahoe/Yukon Adjustment)

  1. Remove the rear sill plate trim panel. Refer to Door Protector Replacement - Rear .
  2. Loosen the striker bolts.

  4. Move the assembly, forward or backward, in order to obtain the proper close of the liftgate.
  5. NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
  6. Ensure that the endgate seals completely with the minimum closing effort.

    Tighten:  Tighten the striker assembly to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).
