Installation Procedure

  1. Connect the upper latch cable.
  2. Install the latch control handle.
    3. NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
  3. Install the latch control handle screws.

    Tighten:  Tighten the screws to 9 N.m (80 lb in).

  4. Connect the lower latch cable to handle.
  5. Pull back the water deflector, as necessary. Refer to Water Deflector Replacement .
  6. Install the rear door trim panel, as necessary. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Rear Door .
