Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2002 GMC Yukon. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Install the position sensor on the vehicle.
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install the bolts to the frame.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the bolts to 12 N.m (106 lb in).

  3. Close the bracket around the upper control arm making sure the bracket rests between the locating stops.

  5. Install the bolt.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the bolt to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).

  6. Connect the sensor harness connector to the vehicle harness connector.
  7. Install the wheel and tire assembly to the vehicle. Refer to TIRE AND WHEEL REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION in Tires and Wheels.
  8. Lower the vehicle.
