Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2002 GMC Yukon. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Install the position sensor on the vehicle.
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install the bolt to the frame.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the bolts to 12 N.m (106 lb in).

  3. Install the (RTD) sensor link bracket bolt to the upper control arm.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the bolt to 9 N.m (80 lb in).

  4. Install the wheel speed sensor wire from the real time damping (RTD) sensor bracket.
  5. Install the wheel speed sensor wire to the (RTD) sensor bracket.
  6. Connect the sensor harness connector to the vehicle harness connector.
  7. Remove the safety stands.
  8. Lower the vehicle.
