Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the rear license plate attaching hardware from the rear bumper.
  2. Remove the spare tire wheel hoist guide and retaining clip. Refer to TIRE HOIST AND SHAFT REPLACEMENT .
  3. Remove the top fascia step pads. Refer to STEP PAD REPLACEMENT - TOP REAR BUMPER .
  4. Remove the center fascia step pads. Refer to STEP PAD REPLACEMENT - CENTER REAR BUMPER .
  5. Remove the rear object sensors. Refer to REAR OBJECT SENSOR REPLACEMENT .

  7. Remove the rear fascia from the bumper bar.

  9. Release the lamp assembly tab from the rear fascia to remove.
  10. Release the lamp socket by turning 1/4 turn counterclockwise.
  11. Remove the lamp assembly from the vehicle.
