Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the rear compartment sill plate. Refer to Compartment Sill Plate Replacement - Rear  .
  2. Remove the rear fascia. Refer to FASCIA REPLACEMENT -- REAR BUMPER .
  3. Remove the nuts retaining latch striker from outside the rear compartment.
  4. Remove the rear compartment latch striker.
