Removal Procedure

  1. Open the rear compartment lid.
  2. Remove the rear compartment lid trim. Refer to Compartment Lid Trim Replacement - Rear  .
  3. Remove the latch cable assembly from the back of the lock cylinder.
  4. Remove the rear compartment lid applique. Refer to Compartment Lid Applique Replacement - Rear  .
  5. Remove the lock cylinder retaining clip (3) from inside the compartment lid.
  6. Remove the lock cylinder from the rear compartment lid.
