Installation Procedure

  1. Install the lock cylinder to the bracket (2).
  2. Install the bracket and cylinder (2) to the rear compartment lid.
    CAUTION: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
  3. Install the fasteners (1) in order to retain the lock cylinder bracket to the lid.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the fasteners to 9 N.m (80 lb in).

  4. Install the latch cable to the back of the lock cylinder.
  5. Install the rear compartment lid trim. Refer to Compartment Lid Trim Replacement - Rear  .
  6. Close the lid.
