Removal Procedure

  1. From inside the rear compartment, remove the bulb from the high mount stoplamp.

  2. Remove the rear seat cushion. Refer to SEAT CUSHION REPLACEMENT - REAR .
  3. Remove the rear seat back. Refer to SEAT BACK REPLACEMENT - REAR (NON-FOLDING) or SEAT BACK REPLACEMENT - REAR (FOLDING) .
  4. Remove the push pins from the panel front.
  5. Lift the panel and remove the seat belts through the slots in the trim panel.
  6. Slide the panel forward to disengage the integral hook from the retaining hole.

  8. Disconnect the electrical cable connector for the high mount stoplamp, located on the passenger end of panel.
  9. Remove the rear shelf.
