Removal Procedure

Important:  Do not break the upper trim panel.

  1. Gently pull out the trim panel at the top of the window opening. Using a long, narrow screwdriver, pry the retaining clips apart in order to disengage the clips.
  2. Lift the side rear door trim panel up.
  3. Remove the side rear door trim panel from the door.
  4. Remove the side rear door trim panel from the vehicle.
  5. Inspect the side rear door trim panel for broken or missing retaining clips. Replace the retaining clips as needed.
