Installation Procedure

  1. Install the sliding side door center roller bracket (1) to the vehicle.
  2. Slide the sliding side door center roller bracket (1) into the rear of the track.
    CAUTION: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.
  3. Install the nuts (2) in order to retain the sliding side door center roller bracket (1) to the door. Tighten the retaining nuts to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).
  4. Install the bolts (4) in order to retain the sliding side door center roller bracket (1) to the door. Tighten the retaining bolts to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).
  5. Install the sliding side door stop. Refer to Sliding Door Stop Replacement .
  6. Install the passenger side body side trim panel. Refer to TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT - RIGHT BODY SIDE .
  7. Install the sliding side door lower trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Sliding Door Lower .
