Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the sliding door lower trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Sliding Door Lower .
  2. Remove the sliding side door control assembly. Refer to Door Control Replacement .
  3. Remove the lock rods from the lock.
  4. Remove the nuts and the bracket that retain the outside door handle to the sliding side door.
  5. Remove the sliding side door outside handle from the door.
