Removal Procedure

  1. Open the door approximately half way.
  2. Pull the side door check strap (1) toward the inside of the door.
  3. Swing the door open.
  4. Remove the bolts (2) and the nuts (2) that retain the side door check strap (1) to the door pillar.
  5. Remove the side door check strap (1) from the door.
