Removal Procedure

  1. Lower the tilt steering column to the lowest position.
  2. Pry out in order to remove the ignition cylinder bezel (1).
  3. Remove the left IP outer trim cover. Refer to Instrument Panel (IP) Outer Trim Cover Replacement  .
  4. Remove the IP center trim plate. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - IP Center  .
  5. Remove the drivers side knee bolster. Refer to Knee Bolster Replacement  .
  6. Remove the right IP accessory trim plate. Refer to Trim Plate Replacement - IP Accessory Right  .

  7. Remove the push pin fasteners that retain the top IP cluster trim cover to the IP.
  8. Remove the left IP air deflector. Refer to Deflector Replacement - Instrument Panel Air - Left  .

  9. Remove the fasteners that retain the IP cluster trim plate to the IP.
  10. Disconnect the electrical connectors.
  11. Remove the IP cluster trim plate from the vehicle.
