Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2002 Oldsmobile Aurora and 2001 Oldsmobile Aurora. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Position the IP storage compartment to the IP storage compartment door.
    CAUTION: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
  2. Install the fasteners in order to secure the IP storage compartment to the door.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the fasteners to 1.4 N.m (12 in lbs).

  3. Position the IP storage compartment and door assembly to the IP retainer.
  4. Install the fasteners (1) in order to secure the IP storage compartment door to the IP retainer.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the fasteners to 2 N.m (18 in lbs).

  5. Install the right closeout insulator panel. Refer to Closeout/Insulator Panel Replacement - Right  .
