Installation Procedure

  1. Set the forward edge of the closeout insulator panel onto the shelf of carpeting at the front of the vehicle.
  2. Connect the electrical connector to the lower IP courtesy lamp.
  3. Install the heater temperature sensor to the closeout insulator panel by turning 1/4 turn clockwise.
  4. Install fasteners into lower IP.
  5. Position the closeout insulator panel to the IP retainer.
    CAUTION: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
  6. Install the fasteners in order to secure the close out insulator panel to the IP retainer.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the fasteners to 2 N.m (18 in lbs).
