Installation Procedure

  1. Install the secondary knee bolster brackets to the carrier.
    CAUTION: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
  2. Install the secondary knee bolster bracket fasteners

    Tighten 

    Tighten the fasteners to 10 N.m (89 in lbs).

  3. Install the primary knee bolster bracket.
  4. Install the primary knee bolster bracket fasteners.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the fasteners to 2 N.m (18 in lbs).

  5. Install the knee bolster. Refer to Knee Bolster Replacement  .
  6. Install the left closeout insulator panel. Refer to Closeout/Insulator Panel Replacement - Left  .
