Installation Procedure

  1. Position the IP end bracket to the hinge pillar.
    CAUTION: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
  2. Install the fasteners in order to secure the IP end bracket to the hinge pillar.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the fasteners to 50 N.m (37 ft lbs).

  3. Install the IP carrier. Refer to IP Carrier Replacement  .
  4. Enable the SIR system. Refer to ACTIVATING SYSTEM .
